Utility Mill

Find out if Google knows your password

Instructions / Discussion

This fellow discovered that you can use Google to look up a hashed value of a password to get the original password.

  1. Type in a non-sensitive password and click "Go".
  2. You will get a URL to paste into your browser's address bar.
  3. The URL is a Google search for the MD5 hash of your password.
  4. If Google finds any results, it's time to change your password.

This utility is for fun only. Please do not input passwords for your sensitive information. I can't be responsible for keeping them safe.
